PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS
As different as the Kite Wave is from the Alien, the Floater is different from all other twin tips. It’s tailored for wave riding and high-speed freestyle, especially with short lines. Most twins are designed to be ridden on edge while the Floater 140 excels when ridden flat. It requires a different style of balance, but once you take the time to dial into it, you’ll appreciate the unique performance this design offers.
WHAT’S NEW IN DESIGN
The rail and bottom shapes are designed so that greater pressure can be applied to your front foot for more power. This makes freestyle and riding at super high speeds effortless. With less “grip” than regular “square rails” boards, the Floater allows super fast direction changing, ideal for riding with short lines. Full surf rails give you greater drive in the bottom turn and more grip in the top turn. The Floater combines the feeling of a surfboard with all the creativity of riding a twin tip.
WHAT’S NEW IN CONSTRUCTION
The Floater utilizes the same technology we developed for the Kite Wave range. The medium-density core with a light-weight gelcoat finish is the ideal combination of performance and durability.
